Another email scam to watch out for
It is a wonder that some people still fall for scams and other types of fraud like this, when then is so much publicity around about what you should be looking for.
Take this woman in the US she received and email saying that she could get her hands on $20.5 million if she helped out a long lost relative, naturally she would need to put up some cash in order to help her relative in the first place!
She was so taken in by the scam that they totally fleeced her to the tune of $400,000, all because she believed that at the end of the day she would be receiving a large pay cheque.
The ordeal went on for nearly two years, the woman mortgaged her house and obtained money from other sources too, but even when her family, friends and bank told her to stop because it was a scam, she still continued until she had nothing left.
