Microsoft’s emergency patch

By now, many users of Microsoft will have received an emergency patch through the automatic download; this is supposed to fix the bug that has been affecting all versions of the company’s internet explorer browser from IE5 right up to the bets version of IE8.

The bug is said to allow attackers to get through the system and steal personal data such as passwords and usernames, with this they can go on to create false ID’s and cause no end of damage to users personal life.

It has been estimated that there could have been as many as ten thousand websites, which have been compromised, however so far it seems that the attackers have been going after gaming passwords for the use of black market sales.
