Some SSL certs unsafe

It has been estimated that there could be as many as fourteen per cent of the SSL certificates have a vulnerability, which could threaten the safety and security of some computers.

A digital certificate is something that most internet users rely on as being a signal that the website that they are visiting is perfectly safe, but with so many having the potential to be exploited, then there is reason to be worried.

Microsoft have made it clear that they are aware of the situation, but also stress that this is not a Microsoft specific problem, they suggest that users should look for websites which carry the Extended Validation (EV) certificates, these often show up as green in the address bar.
