UK government in trouble over web snooping
For some time, there have been concerns over the amount of surveillance that goes on in the UK but this is simply brushed off as all of this is done for our security.
However, it seems that not everyone agrees, including the EU who are so concerned at the amount of snooping that goes on in the UK and are considering legal action against the UK government.
The reason for this action is because the EU consider the UK laws on data protection are flawed and do not meet the current European standards, which sounds serious to worry about!
The UK government now has two months to respond; otherwise, this could end up going to the European court of justice for the alleged breach of the EU data protection directive.
